Different yet the same

She’s a fairy

Living under the canopy of leaves

Lavender wings, silver hair

Grey eyes, an unusual tail

He’s a demon

With no home, he travels

Creeps under the moonlight

Into bedrooms, seeking what’s right

She’s an angel

Classifies herself as different

Her wings black, like no other

So she seeks for recognition

He’s a human

With the desires and passions

Of a young child, unrestrained

People consider him as a rebel

They have things they hide

But one thing is under the spotlight

They have something different

And a purpose in their lives

They look everywhere

Protect and help themselves

Strive for survival and knowledge

They’re special in their own way

They’re different yet the same
