A thought that keeps haunting me

I wake up to one fine morning
The cool air caresses my skin
But when I open the door
I remember,

Those who are praying to stay alive
Eating hope for breakfast, rotten hope
Their children brightfully smile
Playing in puddles, in front of a broken door
Houses with no walls
No windows

All my life I’ve been shaped
by the agents of lies
No idea how to change
change all those lives
